VACANCY – Quality Inspector
CMM Operator/Programmer
My leading Cambridgeshire client have an requirement for someone to join their small Quality team.
In this role you will report directly to the Quality Manager but be the ‘stand alone’ Quality representative for a specific area within our organisation. This will mean that you will be responsible for all quality matters including inspection and talking to Customers.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Experience of operating and programming CMM’s using PC-DMIS software.
• Previous experience of inspecting castings would be an advantage.
• Being able to devise, develop and implement CMM Programs and Measurement Methods.
• Ideally have a background of working with the motorsport or automotive industry.
• An understanding of CNC machining would be a distinct advantage.
• Experience of preparing inspection documentation to present to customers.
• Good working knowledge of quality improvement tools.
• Fact based decision maker with a strong analytical skills and methodical approach.
• Good Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
